2017 Shoot and Share Results | Award Winning Senior Equestrian Couples Photographer | Union Bridge, MD

Each year Shoot and Share throws a MASSIVE international photography contest, with over 300,000 images entered by hundreds of thousands of photographers, and this year I went all in and entered 50 images from my 2016 sessions. The winning images were unbelievably amazing and I am SO honored to have so many of my images place in the top 30%! Check out my personal results below, and you can see all the contest results here:

Styled Shoot With Taylor | Carroll County Maryland Senior Portrait Photographer | Westminster, MD

When I found this beautiful blue dress I just KNEW I had to plan a shoot around it, and luckily Taylor didn't mind braving the 20 degree weather to model for me! Doing a shoot completely for myself, and getting to create images that speak to my soul without worrying about whether or not anyone else likes them was SO refreshing, and I am so happy with how this gorgeous set turned out. Expect many more mini styled shoots like this this year!

Favorite Frames of 2016 | Carroll County MD Portrait Photographer | Union Bridge, MD

This blog post is a HUGE thank you to all the amazing clients that made 2016 such a fantastic first official year for Naturally Vivid Photography. Without all of you and your referrals, a small business like this would not be able to thrive. Aside from all my gorgeous clients who have the cutest clothes I've ever seen, I was so lucky to find some of the most amazing locations for everyone this year. From flower farms and wild fields flooded with golden light, to abandoned back roads and cute small towns. If 2016 was this good, I cannot wait to see what is in store for NVP in 2017! Enjoy my favorite images from the year.

Through My Eyes: OBX | Maryland Portrait Photographer | Union Bridge, MD

Even though photography is something I love so much to the point of obsessing over, it was SO nice to get away for a week and not have to worry about social media! I spent a week in Hatteras, NC in the beautiful OBX with my boyfriend's family and had a fantastic time. We went off roading through flooded roads and on the beach, hung out on the beach all day, and I took my boyfriend flyboarding for his birthday! Can't wait until next year to go back.
